Terms of service
Last updated 16 July 2026
The agreement between your gym and RollCall. Plain terms, no traps.
1. What RollCall is
RollCall is software for running a Brazilian jiu jitsu gym: attendance, belts, dues, scheduling, and messaging. You use it as a service over the internet. We do not run your gym, teach your classes, or decide who gets promoted.
2. Your account
You need an account, and you are responsible for what happens under it. Keep your password to yourself. Signup is for adults acting for a gym; children do not create accounts, their gym creates their record.
The person who registers the gym is its owner. A gym must always keep at least one owner, which is why RollCall refuses to demote the last one.
3. Plans, the trial, and price
The Free plan is free and stays free. Starting from a pricing button gives you a 30 day Pro trial, once per gym, with no card required. When the trial ends your gym returns to Free; nothing is deleted, and data over the Free limits becomes read only until you upgrade.
Paid prices are shown in Philippine pesos and are VAT inclusive. See VAT and billing for how that works and what your receipt shows. If we change prices, existing gyms get notice in the app first, and a price change never applies to a period you have already paid for.
4. Paying
PayPal renews automatically until cancelled. GCash, Maya, GoTyme, and bank transfer are reconcile first: you send with the reference code shown, and the period activates when it is confirmed. If a renewal is not paid, your gym gets reminders and a grace period before it lapses back to Free. Lapsing is not deletion.
Only an owner can change or cancel what your gym pays RollCall. No staff title can ever be granted that power.
5. Money between your gym and your members
Dues your members pay you are between you and them. RollCall records them, and where you have connected a payment provider it helps collect them, but the underlying obligation, refunds, and any dispute are yours. If you use RollCall's own payment account rather than connecting your own, we hold collected dues on your behalf and remit them to you, less the payment provider's fee, which is shown to you.
6. Your data is yours
Your roster, attendance, belts, and records belong to your gym. We do not sell them, we do not use them to train AI models, and we do not hold them hostage. You can export your reports at any time on a paid plan. If you leave, ask and we will delete your gym's data, keeping only what tax law requires about payments. How it is handled day to day is in the privacy policy.
7. Acceptable use
Do not use RollCall to break the law, to harass anyone, to upload someone else's data without the right to, or to attack the service or probe it for weaknesses. Do not resell it as your own. Community board posts and messages are your members' words; your gym moderates them, and we may remove content that is illegal.
You are responsible for having the right to hold the records you put in, including consent from parents or guardians for the children on your roster.
8. Promotions are yours, not ours
RollCall tracks attendance, time in grade, and syllabus progress, and can flag who meets the requirements you set. It does not promote anyone, and it never promises a belt or stripe. Grading is your call as the coach, and nothing in this software creates an entitlement to a rank.
9. Availability
We work to keep RollCall running but do not promise uninterrupted service. There will be maintenance, and occasionally something will break. We will not pretend otherwise in an uptime clause we cannot honour.
10. Liability
RollCall is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability for any claim is limited to what your gym paid us in the twelve months before it arose. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
11. Ending it
You can stop using RollCall whenever you like, and cancel a paid plan from the Billing screen; it runs to the end of the period you paid for. We may suspend or end an account that breaks these terms, is used to harm someone, or is used to defraud us or your members. If we end your account without cause, we refund the unused part of your period.
12. Changes
If these terms change in a way that matters, we will say so in the app rather than quietly editing this page. Continuing to use RollCall after that means you accept the change.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines, and disputes go to the courts of Cagayan de Oro City, Misamis Oriental.
14. Contact
Use the contact form on the Support tab inside the app, or reply to any email RollCall sends you.
