About RollCall

BJJ gym software built in the Philippines, for gyms that get paid in pesos over GCash.

Why this exists

Most gym software is built for American gyms and priced in dollars. It assumes card payments on file, monthly auto-billing, and a front desk with a computer. Then a Philippine academy signs up and discovers the parts that matter here are missing: nobody has a card on file, dues arrive by GCash at ten in the evening, and the coach reconciles them from his phone between rounds.

RollCall starts from how a Philippine BJJ gym actually runs. Dues arrive by GCash, Maya, GoTyme, or bank transfer, each with a reference code so a payment can be matched to a member instead of guessed at. Prices are in pesos, VAT inclusive. Everything works on a phone, because that is the only computer on the mat.

Built BJJ first

Belts and stripes are not a generic "membership level". A jiu jitsu gym tracks gi and no gi attendance, time in grade, and a technique syllabus, and grading night is a judgment call the coach makes. RollCall tracks the objective parts honestly and never pretends to make that call: it will tell you who meets your requirements, and it will never tell a student they are owed a promotion. That line matters, so it is drawn in the product, not just in the marketing.

Who builds it

RollCall is built by Mikko Neri, a full stack developer in Cagayan de Oro with over a decade of shipping software for agencies in the US and UK, and by a small circle of coaches who tell him when it is wrong. Their gyms are the reason the reconcile flow exists.

It is not venture funded and does not need to be. That means no growth deadline forcing a price hike, and no incentive to hold your roster hostage. If RollCall stops being useful, you should be able to export your data and leave.

Where it runs

RollCall runs on servers in the United States, with your gym's data isolated per account. What that means for your members' information, including children's records, is spelled out plainly in the privacy policy.
